Fashionline guarantees that all awnings will be free from defects in componentry for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Awning fabric is guaranteed for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
A service call fee is applicable after twelve months from date of purchase, however customers can return their products to the original supplier of the installed products to waive this fee.
The guarantee for Fashionline products is limited to repair or replacement of the product or components found to be defective as installed by a Fashionline supplier. The guarantee does not cover defects or damage caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, motorised devices, wear and tear or failure to follow our instructions with respect to cleaning and maintenance.
Under the guarantee, the Fashionline supplier shall not be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee.
The benefits conferred by this Guarantee are in addition to all other rights and services which the purchaser has under the Trade Practices Act 1974 and similar state and territory laws.
The warranty on awnings is applicable to normal use and assumes that the awnings are not used in strong winds / storms and not left down or extended indefinitely (excluding fixed frame awnings).
All warranties are conditional. For the warranty to be valid, customers must adhere to the care instructions provided with all Fashionline products.
The warranty does not cover variances in colours and textures from batch to batch. In addition, a receipt providing proof of purchase is required for any warranty claims.
Wholesale warranty may vary. Warranty is not extended to commercial products and installations.
Nothing contained in the Guarantee shall be read or applied as to purport to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying the application in relation to the supply of any goods or services pursuant to this agreement of all or any of the Provisions of Part V of the Trade Practices Act 1974 or any relevant State Act or Territorial Ordinance which law cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
